Kason 1245 Reversible Cam-Rise Coldroom Door Hinge
Industry-standard self-closing cam-rise hinge designed for commercial coldroom and freezer door applications. The Kason 1245 uses a strong, self-lubricating nylon cam to deliver smooth, reliable door operation with minimal opening effort.
The cam-rise action helps reduce gasket wear, even where floors are uneven, supporting long-term sealing performance. A built-in dwell feature holds the door open beyond 90°, improving ease of access during loading and unloading. Doors can be lifted off without disassembly or removing the hinges, simplifying maintenance and servicing.
The hinge is reversible for right- or left-hand opening doors. As supplied, the default hang is right-hand.

Reversing the hinge: To reverse the Kason 1245 hinge, remove the nylon pin and cap from the strap section of the hinge and swap their positions. Refer to product images for guidance.
