Low-Voltage Door Frame Heater System
Complete low-voltage door frame heater system designed for freezer coldrooms where ice formation and cold bridging can affect door operation and sealing. By applying controlled, even heat around the door frame, the system helps reduce thermal bridging at critical junctions, limiting condensation, ice build-up, and frost-related damage. This supports smoother door operation, consistent gasket compression, and reduced long-term maintenance.
The kit includes:
- Low-voltage transformer with multiple heater length settings
- Suitable for 4–40 ft or 1.22m-12.19m of heater tape
- Heater Tape Connection Box (HTCB)
- Roll of heater tape (various lengths available)
- 50m roll of double-sided adhesive tape for secure fixing
Installation notice – heater tapes: This product must be installed by a trained and competent coldroom installer or refrigeration engineer. Electrical connections should be made in accordance with applicable regulations and site requirements. Heater tape may be cut to length as required, but must not be overlapped, kinked, or damaged during installation. Always confirm correct transformer settings and test the system before final commissioning.
Transformers are specific to the specifications above and must be selected to match the required heater configuration.
