Fermod 2220TN Pressure Relief Valve for Small Coldrooms

Plastic wall or ceiling mounted pressure relief valve designed for small coldrooms with a maximum capacity of 75 cubic metres. The Fermod 2220TN replaces the now obsolete Fermod 2145 pressure relief valve and is suitable for negative temperature coldrooms down to -30°C. Designed to fit panel thicknesses from 60mm to 120mm.

The valve is heated and mechanically operated, using two airtight mobile flaps with a return spring to allow controlled airflow in either direction. Admission and exhaust airflow are separated by an internal partition to maintain effective pressure balance.

Mechanical element:

The valve features a telescopic cylinder that adjusts to suit different wall or ceiling thicknesses. Two separate internal compartments allow air to enter or exit as required to equalise pressure. The body is manufactured from composite material resistant to common cleaning products.

Heating element:

The heating element is mounted around the perimeter of the valve and fully encapsulated within the unit. It provides continuous power output of 8W to prevent icing. Electrical connection is made outside the coldroom via a cable exiting through the front valve gland.
