DA1 Standard Door Open Alarm with Magnetic Switch

The DA1 standard door open alarm is designed to alert staff when a coldroom or cold store door has been left open longer than the preset time delay. Using a magnetic door switch, the alarm activates a flashing red warning light and an 80dB pulsing sounder to provide a clear visual and audible alert.

Once the door is closed, the alarm automatically resets, helping to maintain efficient operation without manual intervention. Reducing the time doors are left open helps lower energy consumption by minimising the load on the refrigeration system. It also reduces the risk of ice forming around the threshold and entrance floor, which can lead to poor door sealing and potential slip hazards.
