The Fermod 921/521 Internal Release Handle provides a dependable internal release function for coldroom doors, allowing safe exit even when locked externally. Compatible with Fermod 921, 621, and 521 handle systems and built for long-term durability in coldroom environments.
⚠️ Safety note: Internal release handles are a legal requirement in walk-in cold rooms. Replace immediately if damaged or stiff.

How to Replace Remove the green rubber cap and unscrew the fixings that secure it to the door. In many cases you can reuse the existing grey tube and push rod -they are already cut to size. If replacement is needed, cut the grey tube to the thickness of the door and the push rod to the door thickness + 14mm.
Supplied as a complete replacement kit, the unit installs quickly and restores full functionality to your Fermod door system.
