TV & Film Studio Mortuary Coldroom Door Furniture Set – Hire Only
Door furniture hire set assembled specifically for TV sets and film studios requiring a realistic mortuary or coldroom door setup for short-term filming. This set is intended for one-off scenes and must be returned after use.
The hire set includes:
- 1 × Kason 58 coldroom lockable handle, complete kit. Suitable for 44.5mm–63.5mm door offset
Includes strike plate and inner release handle - 2 × Kason 1245 hinges 44.5mm offset
All items are supplied as used components and may show minor cosmetic marks consistent with previous hire use. Functionality is not affected.
Hire terms and costs:
- Total item cost: £195.00 + VAT (Includes £15 return shipping)
- Refundable deposit: £90.00 + VAT (Based on one handle set)
The hire price includes use of the items and a one-off return shipping charge to our office. We will arrange courier collection once filming is complete. Upon return and inspection for damage, the deposit will be refunded minus any applicable shipping costs.
Coldroom door offset – what does it mean?
The door offset is the measurement from the door frame to the outer face of the door when it’s in the closed position. Selecting the correct offset ensures the handle aligns properly and the seal compresses evenly for a tight, reliable seal.
