Replacement Barrel and Keys for Fermod Locks
Replacement Fermod lock barrel supplied with two keys. Keys are number-specific, making this item suitable for maintenance or replacement where keys have been lost or the barrel requires renewal.

Removing the existing barrel:
- Remove the green rubber cap from the inner release handle
- Undo the screws inside the inner release handle
- Remove the black push rod connecting the inner and outer handles
- Using a 17mm socket with an extension bar, insert it into the handle opening and locate the 17mm nut at the back of the external handle
- Turn anti-clockwise to loosen and remove the nut
- Remove the two slotted screws located above and below the latch section
- Remove the external handle from the door
Replacing the barrel:
- With the external handle removed, locate the fixing screw securing the barrel
- Remove the screw and replace the barrel
Reassembly and adjustment:
- Refit the handle by reversing the removal steps
- Check the strike alignment and adjust if required using an 8mm spanner
- Ensure the door closes firmly but not overly tight to avoid excess strain on the strike
- Further adjustment of the strike may be required to achieve the best fit
